Countdown to launch
VAEP is making it easier for you to learn the truth about vaping with our online learning center, VAEPology, due for launch January 2018.
You will be able to access the specific information you want and instantly link to the scientific source. Original software is currently being written for VAEPology. We expected to have working samples of the flow charts and reference library by the middle of November 2017.

Follow the link to the VAEPology login page. We have made a submission box for you to enter your email.
VAEPology will consist of 5 learning tools:
1. Original Work
We will be adding to our Original Work page, where you can find what VAEP produces to help you educate yourself. All our work is presented in conversational English and based in facts. We will be summarizing several lengthy medical reports on vaping science (listed on our Links page) so you can benefit from the content in less time than it would take to read the original.
2. Reference Library
The Reference Library is the backbone of VAEPology and ensures that all of our work is traceable back to the original source.
Hundreds of credible references such as published studies, statistics, reports and surveys will be cataloged in a library. You can search by key word, year published, author name or by over 30 criteria. Search results display descriptions of each article. When you select an item, Kellie Ann’s notes on the key points from the item will show. This format increases time efficiency for those that require a greater depth of knowledge such as healthcare professionals. A link to open source publications or abstract and the citation will be provided. Please see video below.
3. Myths and Truths Flowcharts
About 2 to 3 dozen myths and truths will be presented in this format. It will make it easy to find the information you are looking for and view the scientific evidence that supports the information.
At first, will see a list of Myths boxes. Each box contains a misconception about vaping such as “Vaping is just as bad as smoking”. When you click on a Myth box, the Facts boxes containing information to debunk the myth will pop up. When you click on a Facts box, Evidence boxes will pop up. The Evidence boxes contain the scientific findings that support the Fact. When you click on and Evidence box, you will be taken to the credible source in the reference library that the findings comes from. Please see video below.

4. Video library
Watching videos is an easy way for people to learn because it uses two out of the three ways humans learn (audio and visual). We will be using the 80+ videos from our growing YouTube channel. To make it easier to find what you want, the library will be searchable by category (lecture, news magazine), running time, newest additions to our library and release date.
5. Animated Tutorials
This will be the last part we will create. About a dozen videos will utilize graphics and voice over to illustrate concepts. Each one will be less than 2 minutes and focus on a key concept such as “Is vaping harmful to bystanders?” or “Why is smoking so addictive?”. Each video will be accompanied by a downloadable PDF that provides screenshots, the narrative and references.
